Update: Ebay is now offering the manufacturer refurbished 32GB first gen Nexus 7 for just $120 shipped.

We’re inching closer and closer to seeing some really decent spec’d Android tablets hit that magic $100 price to the point where we could soon see new lower-end models debut for that much. We’ve seen proof of that in many great tablet deals recently and today we get the first gen Nexus 7 with 32GB of storage for just $129.You can also knock off another $10 through a mail-in rebate. Setting aside that it’s last year’s model with Android 4.1, 1GB of RAM, and the 1.2MP front facing camera, $129 is still an insanely low price for a quad-core Tegra 3 tablet that was not too long ago Google’s flagship offering and selling for over $250.

Samsung just launched its new Galaxy Tab3 Lite that should get it as close to the $100 mark in the US as it has ever been, and we wouldn’t be surprised if 2014 brings a whole other crop of low-cost Android tablets from reputable manufacturers aimed at the $100 category.
