Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones get unexpected $80 drop (Black): $220 shipped (Reg. $300)

Apple’s recently-released Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones are a great choice for iPhone 7 users. The Bluetooth wireless headphones use Apple’s new W1 Wireless chip, which makes pairing with other Apple devices a simple affair.

Amazon is selling the matte black version of the Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones for only $219.99, which is about $80 off the original price of $299.95. If matte black doesn’t resonate with you, there are other colors available (gloss black, gloss white, gold, and rose gold) for a substantial $50 discount.

I’ve owned multiple pairs of Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones, and I think that the matte black versions, which happen to feature the biggest price reduction, look the best. I reviewed these headphones back in September, and mostly liked what I found.

If you’re in the market for a pair of wireless headphones, then you should consider the Beats Solo3 Wireless. Not only do they look good, but they sound good and pair easily thanks to the W1 chip.

If over-the-ear headphones aren’t your speed, then you can find Beats’ Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones for $199.99. These earphones don’t feature the same massive 40-hour battery life of the Solo3, but they are better geared towards workout activities, and also feature the W1 chip for seamless pairing and switching between Apple devices.
