Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile roll out PRODUCT(RED) iPhone 8/Plus pre-order deals

Apple’s new PRODUCT(RED) iPhone 8/Plus has arrived after leaks started to surface at the beginning of this week. We’ve already told you about Best Buy’s deals on this new device, and today we’re diving into what T-Mobile and Verizon have to offer on day one.

T-Mobile is offering a BOGO $700 off any iPhone 8/Plus, while Verizon is continuing the offer we told you about last week that delivers 50% off with an eligible trade-in. More details below.

Let’s breakdown the T-Mobile offer first. Recently the carrier began offering a buy one get one free program on Apple’s latest iPhones. In that regard, we’re not seeing anything new here today. But if you’re someone who wants to pick up a day one PRODUCT(RED) iPhone, this is arguably your best bet.

Here’s how it works. If you buy an iPhone 7/8/Plus or X, T-Mobile will deliver up to $700 in rebates towards the purchase of a second device, in this case the new colorway.

Like Verizon, you will need to trade-in a device to cash in on the savings here. T-Mobile also requires that both devices be carried on its financed payment plans. Oh, and you’ll have to port a number over as well. Full terms and conditions can be found on this page when you click on “see how to buy one iPhone 8 & get $700 off a second!”

To redeem:

  1. Purchase two qualifying smartphones on EIP.
  2. Trade in an eligible phone within 20 days of receiving your new devices.
  3. Keep your current number. Call 1-855-972-2436 within 20 days of receiving your new phone to complete your switch.
  4. Go here and enter the promo code 18Q1APLBOGO along with any other requested information within 30 days of purchase to get your rebate.

Moving on to Verizon, things are a bit more straight forward but arguably not as strong of a deal. Anyone who trades in an eligible device (see the full list here), can save 50% on a PRODUCT(RED) iPhone 8/Plus. This offer is not available on iPhone X, in case you were wondering. You’ll have to use the same finance plan to take advantage of this offer, which is similar to T-Mobile’s promotion.

Verizon and T-Mobile are both opening up pre-orders today for the new PRODUCT(RED) iPhone 8/Plus. Both models will be available in-store starting on Friday, April 13th, as well, which is the same day Apple will have it available for pickup.

T-Mobile Terms and Conditions:
