On the heels of last month’s new Star Wars Original Trilogy BrickHeadz, LEGO is back at it with another round of figures. This time though, instead of more fearsome imperial brick-built characters, we’re getting an assortment of figures centered around The Empire Strikes Back.

Today, LEGO took to Twitter to announce three new BrickHeadz headlined by an all-new Luke Skywalker alongside Leia and the galaxy’s favorite bounty hunter, Boba Fett.

Kicking off the new releases is an all-new Luke Skywalker BrickHeadz figure. Donning his garb from The Empire Strikes Back, Luke comes packed with his Lightsaber and blaster among other screen-accurate details. The real standout for this figure is that an adorable miniature Yoda is included as well.

Princess Leia also made her debut in the new lineup of BrickHeadz, and she comes sporting her iconic hairdo and white dress with all-new printed elements. Of the three figures announced today, Leia is the least impressive in my book, although she’ll still be a must-have for many Original Trilogy Star Wars fans out there like myself.

Lastly, we’ve got the impressive new Boba Fett figure. This will mark his second debut into the BrickHeadz lineup, as the New York Comic-Con Exclusive set came out last fall. LEGO has refreshed the design this time around and done just an absolutely phenomenal job recreating the bounty hunter, including his iconic helmet and other gear.

For many, the BrickHeadz recreations of characters like Darth Vader are hit or miss. But I think LEGO has done the fan-favorite character incredible justice. By the looks of it, Boba Fett includes at least 4 new printed elements, which is always a plus as well.

For now, LEGO is staying quiet on when the latest round of BrickHeadz figures will be coming to stores. ‘Coming soon’ leaves a lot up to the imagination, but our bet is September 1st, which is when the next batch of LEGO Star Wars sets are rumored to be releasing. You can expect the typical pricing structure here, with the single figures selling for $10. Although the Luke and Yoda bundle may end up fetching a bit more.

All-in-all, today’s announcement is by far my favorite expansion of the BrickHeadz lineup to date. I was bummed when I couldn’t pick up the original Boba Fett, and so the widespread release has been a long time coming for me. Luke’s figure is just absolutely top-notch in my opinion and come on, you can’t go wrong with that adorable little Yoda.
