Dell to repair faulty hinges on Alienware M11x R1 and R2 Laptops

Dell recently announced that it will repair broken hinges on its Alienware M11x R1 and R2 Notebooks, regardless of warranty status or locale. Affected computers will need to have the entire LCD panel replaced, some via mail or in-home repair; click here for full instructions and details.

Dell notes that all Alienware M11x R3 owners already have the fixed hinge assembly and can disregard this repair offer.
