Simple Station Dock is an industrial looking all-in-one charging solution for your Apple Watch and iPhone

Much like other Apple product releases, the Apple Watch has seen a flood of accessories, cases, docks and other charging solutions. Now that the dust is beginning to settle, manufacturers can identify holes in the accessory market and deliver new innovations to solve various needs.

Amongst all the docks for Apple Watch, there have been few offerings that solve the dilemma of charging both timepiece and iPhone at the same time. After releasing a popular dock for iPhone 6 last fall, Designed by Many is taking to Kickstarter with a new dual iPhone and Apple Watch solution.

The Simple Station Dock from Designed by Many solves two charging issues in one simple solution. Much like its other Apple accessories, this new dock has a decidedly industrial look. Each Simple Station is made from a solid block of aluminum. The left side has a polygonal resting spot for the Watch while iPhone 6/Plus and 5/s/c will find a home in the recessed right side of the dock. It has a path for both Lightning and Apple Watch charging cables that has been carved out to keep them out of sight.

A built-in amplification system has been cut out beneath the iPhone to increase the volume of music or an alarm clock. It has a minimal design overall that looks like a nice complement to Apple’s aluminum products. The dock is available in black, gray and champagne colors and can be had for an early bird pledge of $89. The expected final retail price is $139.

There is another piece to this Kickstarter campaign as well: the Banded Classic Case for Apple Watch. DBM wants to wrap your timepiece in a milled aluminum housing and finish it with a leather band. This machine style case lifts the bezel of your watch up, providing additional protection for bumps and scratches. There are six case colors – matching all the Watch stylings plus others – and three different leather bands. An early bird commitment of $89 will deliver added protection for your Watch.
