Persona 5 PS3/PS4 – April 4th

Anyone familiar with JRPGs, will know the Persona series and all of its anime craziness. It has been racking in near perfect review scores for years, so it was no surprise the latest entry in the series experienced the same fate when critics got their hands on it. An interesting battle system and massively improved dungeons has Persona 5 as one of the hottest releases of the year thus far.

Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled high school students – the protagonist and a collection of compatriots he meets in the game’s story – who live dual lives as Phantom Thieves. They have the typically ordinary day-to-day of a Tokyo high schooler – attending class, after school activities and part-time jobs. But they also undertake fantastical adventures by using otherworldly powers to enter the hearts of people.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 PS4/PC/Xbox One – April 25th

The Sniper Ghost Warrior series is getting a much bigger budget for the third entry. It is a tactical first-person shooter that takes place in a fictional modern-day version of Georgia. Players are sent in as American Marine Captain Jonathan “Jon” North to eliminate key figures of hostile factions in the area to prevent another Cold War. Not unlike what Ubisoft did what Ghost Recon: Wildlands, this time around players are set free into an open-world where they can freely choose how to tackle missions spread throughout the map.
