Espro invented ‘the World’s Lightest Coffee Press’ for travelers

Espro is a company out of California that creates simple to use coffee and tea presses that are both innovative and grit-free. Currently on Kickstarter, they are seeking funding for their latest creation. It is the lightest insulated French press to date and you can take it with you wherever you go.

The folks at Espro claim to have created the lightest stainless steel insulated brewer to date at just 9.5 ounces. It’s not only light, but it also has a double-filter that creates a French press without any grit.

As the lightest of its kind, the Espro ultralight is made with a stainless steel vacuum that is insulated to keep your drink hot or cold for hours on end.

It’s perfect for any outdoor enthusiast who likes caffeinated beverages. Plus, with its micro-filters it eliminates the sludge and grit you get from typical brewers and you reportedly get a “rich, cleaner cup of coffee every time you brew”.

Also, it has been designed as an all-one-model for easy cleaning and portability and even comes with a leak-proof lid. You probably won’t even notice it as you carry it on your backpack and it’s built tough with durability in mind. “Portable, stylish and versatile.”

If you would like your own Espro, a pledge of $30 or more will get you one of them from the Kickstarter campaign. That’s 33% off the expected retail value. If all goes as planned for the new lighter than ever coffee press, shipping to backers will begin in May of this year.
