Hot Wheels Rocket League RC Rivals brings the game to life, hits store shelves November 1st

Rocket League is a game that took the world by storm. After announcing earlier this year that Hot Wheels would team up with Psyonix to bring Rocket League to life, the Rocket League RC Rivals Set finally has a release date.

This set will let your kids bring their favorite game to life. Hot Wheels has partnered with Rocket League before, but this takes it to a new level. You’ll get two cars in the kit, plus a ball and stadium. Your iPhone or Android device will be the controller, meaning that there are fewer parts to lose. Keep reading to learn more.

Rocket League RC Rivals:

This set is for the Rocket League fan in your home. My younger brother is obsessed with the game, playing it for hours upon hours per day. Many of the people who play the game, however, spend countless hours staring at a screen since it’s a video game.

This new kit will get kids away from the screen and back to interacting with friends in real life. As a two-player match, you’ll battle against each other to score goals and keep the cars in the arena. Using your iPhone or Android device as a remote, you’ll control the cars speed, direction of travel, and maybe even air flips (probably not, but it’s nice to dream) as you try to score on your opponent.

Rocket League RC Rivals Included Items:

In the box, you’ll find two Battle-Cars (Octane and Dominus), an arena, and a ball. The cars are charged on a USB base station and since phones act as a remote, that makes it even easier.

Currently, there are only the two included cars, but Rocket League and Hot Wheels plan to expand that as time goes on.

Rocket League RC Rivals DLCs?!

With every RC Rivals Set purchase, you’ll receive special in-game codes that unlock exclusive content. There’s the Hot Wheels Goal Explosion, Hot Wheels RC Rivals Topper, and two RC Rivals Decals for Octane and Dominus.

Rocket League RC Rivals Availability:

You’ll be able to purchase Rocket League RC Rivals from Amazon, GameStop, Target, and Walmart starting November 1st for $179.99. This is just in time for holiday sales and is sure to become a best-seller in no-time. Be sure to act fast once this set goes on sale, as we’re expecting it to sell out fast and remain that way unless Hot Wheels and Rocket League can keep production numbers sky high.
