Fluance refreshes its turntable lineup with new walnut exteriors, more

Fluance Turntable

This week Fluance announced a refreshed turntable lineup with price points for every budget. As vinyl has enjoyed a resurgence in recent years, more manufacturers than ever are expanding their offerings to meet demand. Just in time for the holidays, Fluance is putting a focus on its in-house turntables that now ship in a variety of finishes and designs. There’s never been a better time to jump into the world of vinyl. Head below for a quick look at what Fluance has to offer as we close out 2018.

Fluance turntables refreshed with new designs

The new lineup from Fluance, officially called Reference Series High Fidelity Turntables, arrive with four different models. Its RT82, RT83, RT84 and RT85 model names may not give away much in the way of specs, but there’s certainly plenty to check out here. Classic vintage vibes abound with glossy and walnut exteriors meant to coexist with any mid-century modern setup.

Each model is powered by a belt drive servo-controlled motor, backed by an optical sensor that looks to identify any physical changes within the records themselves. This helps to eliminate any unnecessary damage by changing speed if needed. Fluance uses Ortofon cartridges on each build, which are attached to an S-shaped tonearm.

The lower-end RT82 and RT83 have a traditional aluminum platter, but Fluance opted to go a different route on its more premium offerings. Going up to the RT84 and RT85 delivers a unique acrylic platter with a frosted design, which Fluance promises will deliver greater speed consistency and eliminate excess vibration.

Fluance’s High Fidelity Turntables play traditional LP and EP vinyl records with absolutely stunning sound quality that achieves the purest analog sound reproduction. When you want to hear music the way the artist intended, choose your favorite 33 1/3 or 45 RPM record, slide it out of the sleeve, power up your sound system, drop the needle and immerse yourself in the warm sound of a Fluance Record Player.
