Just a few days ago we got a look at one of the newest Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System, from ARRIS. And now that CES 2019 is officially here, we’ll begin seeing even more notable home networking releases. TP-Link is wasting no time at all getting in on the action, unveiling Wi-Fi 6 mesh routers of its own called the Deco X10. Headlined by notable 1.95Gbps maximum network speeds, you’ll want to head below for a closer look at the X10, as well as the rest of the company’s latest releases.

TP-Link Deco X10

TP-Link kicked off CES by announcing an expansion of its Kasa smart home products. To follow it up, the company is also showcasing a few new Wi-Fi routers and extenders, three of which come packed with the new Wi-Fi 6 standard. At the head of the pack, the Deco X10 takes the form of a three-band router boasting up to 1.95Gbps speeds.

Its design is pretty unsurprising considering the rest of TP-Link’s routers. Though to many, its $350 price tag will be a tad shocking. You’ll be able to bring home a two-pack of the routers for that price, which will ship sometime in the third quarter of 2019

TP-Link Archer AX1800

TP-Link also has another foray into the Wi-Fi 6 standard, the Archer AX1800. Entering as a more budget-conscious alternative to the more premium Deco X10, this router still touts improved network speeds, which cap out at an impressive 1.8Gbps. The Archer AX1800 will retail for $130, though we won’t see it until the third quarter as well.

New range extenders coming soon

Lastly, we’ll be getting two different range extenders to bolster an existing network setup. At $50, the entry-level model dual-band OneMesh RE300 extender only includes Wi-Fi 5 support. Stepping up to the $100 price point, you’ll add back the inclusion of Wi-Fi 6 compatibility with the RE705X extender.

TP-Link’s releases bring some needed competition to the Wi-Fi 6 standard. While they may be one of the first companies to showcase their new networking products at CES this week, there is sure to be a long list release to follow.
