Apple’s 13-inch M1 MacBook Air falls to new Amazon low at $929 (Save $70)

Reg. $999 $929

Amazon offers the Apple M1 13-inch MacBook Air 256GB for $929 shipped. Down from its usual $999 going rate, today’s offer amounts to $70 in savings and marks a new all-time low on the entry-level model. Apple’s new MacBook Air packs a familiar 13-inch design but with completely overhauled internals that deliver stellar battery life and notable performance gains despite a fan-less build. On top of 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, there’s also a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports here as well as Apple’s Magic Keyboard and upwards of 18-hour battery life. Get a better idea of its performance in our hands-on review, and then check out why we found it to be the 9to5Mac Apple Product of the Year.

Update 2/2 @ 7:59 PM: Amazon is offering the latest 21.5-inch Apple iMac i5/8GB/256GB for $999 shipped. Down $100 from its list price, today’s deal marks a new all-time low that we’ve tracked at Amazon and is the best available.

If you’re looking to make the most of the savings left over from today’s deal, this stylish 13-inch felt sleeve is worth a look at $11. Whether you plan to put the MacBook Air’s portable design to the test by taking it to class or elsewhere, this sleeve is a great way to keep everything protected in-between note-taking sessions and the like. There’s also little pouch for storing chargers or other accessories.

There are also plenty of other notable price cuts where today’s M1 MacBook Air deal came from in our Apple guide. You can still lock-in a new all-time low on Apple Watch Series 6 Nike+ models at $375, as well as the latest iPad mini for $335.
