Sonos Move 2

Sonos launched the new Move 2 portable smart speaker last fall, and I’ve been putting it through the paces of everyday listening for the past several months. Winning me over with a fresh olive green colorway, there’s far more to be excited like AirPlay 2, newfound stereo playback, and 24 hours of battery life.

Sonos One SL works on its own with AirPlay 2 or as a smart satellite speaker at $150 (Reg. $200)

Through the end of the day, Best Buy is offering the Sonos One SL Smart Speaker for $149.99 shipped. Today’s offer is down from the usual $200 price tag and marking the best we have seen in ages. It started out the year with a limited-time drop to $159, and now it’s an extra $9 off to land at the lowest we’ve seen since before 2023. Sonos One SL arrives as one of the more standalone smart speakers from the brand, entering as a companion to the standard Gen 2 model.

Sonos Arc lands at all-time lows of $719 ahead of the Super Bowl, Sub Gen 3 at $639

Sonos today is marking down a pair of our favorite home theater accessories. The savings kick off with the Sonos Arc at $719 shipped. You’ll find it of course at Sonos, but also a host of other retailers like Crutchfield and Best Buy. This is dropping from the usual $899 price tag in order to match our previous mention at 20% off. We last saw it on sale during the Black Friday festivities, and now just in time for the Super Bowl, you can score that same discount.

Score two of the new Sonos Era 300 speakers with a gen 3 Sub at $1,147 (Save $550)

Save $550 $1,147

Crutchfield is now offering a pretty notable bundle to upgrade your Sonos setup. Right now, you can get a pair of its new Sonos Era 300 speakers with one of its new Sub (Gen 3) for $1,147 shipped. This is down from its usual $1,697 price tag and saves you $550 – that is if you don’t mind waiting a bit as the ship date is backordered right now. Still, we think this is one offer that’s worth waiting for, especially because we haven’t seen any standalone discounts on the Era 300 speakers yet. It’s easily one of the best values we’ve seen in the Sonos space in ages, as well as a rare chance to bring home some of the company’s latest releases for less.

Sonos One Gen 2 speaker delivers AirPlay 2 at new low of $134 (Refurb, Save $85)

Orig. $219 $134

Sonos now offers its in-house refurbished One Gen 2 Smart Speaker for $134 shipped. Down from the original $219 price tag, we typically see the refurbished offerings land at $179. Today’s offer is not only offering a rare chance to score this one in stock, but an even rarer chance to find any additional savings attached. It’s now $85 off and landing at a new all-time low. Sonos One Gen 2 arrives as one of the more standalone smart speakers from the brand, bringing with it some improvements to go with the second-generation moniker. Pairing right to your Wi-Fi or with the rest of the Sonos ecosystem, this speaker can work entirely on its own to stream tunes directly from Apple Music and Spotify, as well as sync with other speakers and soundbars for whole-home audio, immersive home theater setups, and more. AirPlay 2 support makes this particularly compelling for Apple users, as well.

Sonos Super Bowl sale goes live with $100 off Arc AirPlay 2 soundbar, Beam 2 at $399, more

Rare deals From $179

Super Bowl Sunday is right around the corner, but there’s still plenty of time to outfit your home theater ahead of the big game. While you’ll find plenty of TV discounts available already, Sonos today is stepping in to make sure your home audio is in check. Delivering some rare chances to save across the board, everything is marked down to the second-best prices to date, if not matching the all-time lows. Shipping is free across the board. Our top pick is the Sonos Arc Smart Soundbar, which drops to $799. Normally fetching $899, this one saw a price hike pretty early on in the pandemic and has only dropped lower than today’s price cut once before back over Black Friday. This $100 discount is also the first markdown since back in November, too.

Arriving as the brand’s most capable smart soundbar, Sonos Arc delivers eleven drivers in a sleek design for a streamlined home theater setup with Dolby Atmos alongside all of the other staples of the ecosystem. That includes AirPlay 2 support, Trueplay audio, surround sound support, and integration with the rest of the Sonos speaker lineup. Head below for all of the other Sonos deals.

IKEA and Sonos unveil SYMFONISK Picture Frame Speaker with AirPlay 2, more

Despite having well over 30 smart devices throughout my home, visitors often cannot tell that light switches, outlets, TVs, and many other pieces of my technology can be controlled using Alexa or Siri. This is because I go to painstaking lengths to blend technology within my space and even hide it whenever possible. Thankfully, IKEA and Sonos are attempting to make home audio disappear with the release of its new SYMFONISK Picture Frame Speaker. Outside of having a power cord, this piece of technology tries to mirror a piece of art while still wielding support for AirPlay 2. Continue reading to learn more.
