After having a less than revealing first introduction earlier this year, Sony was much more forthcoming with details surrounding its new Playstation 4 video game console last night at E3.  Releasing “this Holiday season,” the Playstation 4 will cost $400.  A full $100 below the retail price of a Xbox One.  Most notably, Sony is taking an opposite stance from Microsoft on used games.  Gamers will be able to freely trade, barrow and sell used PS4 games without any restrictions.  A stark contrast to Microsoft’s draconian rules.  The Playstation 4 will come with a brand new dual-shock 4 controller featuring a highly sensitive six-axis sensor as well as a touch pad located on the top of the controller and a SHARE button.  Amazon is now accepting preorders with free shipping and release-day delivery.  Gamestop, Best Buy and most other retailers are also offering preorders.

One of the more unique features, “with the PS Vita system, gamers will be able to seamlessly play a range of PS4 titles on the beautiful 5-inch display over Wi-Fi access points in a local area network.”

Oh ya… Final Fantasy is back!
