If you’re a gamer, you know that performance on PC is vastly superior to what the latest and greatest consoles have to offer. Most would agree this is largely due to price constraints, but here’s to hoping the PlayStation 5 pushes boundaries and can be somewhat competitive with gaming portables like the all-new Razer Blade 15 and 17 Pro.

Announced earlier today, the Razer Blade 15 sports Intel’s latest 9th Generation i7 six-core processor with Advanced models offering a mind-blowing either 240Hz Full HD or 4K OLED touch displays. There are just some games where a keyboard and mouse are more accurate than a controller. The one thing I miss the most when gaming on my Xbox One or PlayStation 4 is using a keyboard and mouse. Well, Microsoft announced a few months ago that support would eventually come to the Xbox, and Razer just announced its first wireless keyboard and mouse for Xbox One in partnership with Microsoft.

Razer has made some of the best peripherals for PC gaming for as long as I can remember. They’re a go-to company for people who want quality, features, and affordable prices.

The new Razer Blade Stealth brings an updated design, powerful specs, and more to the table

I owned an early 2018 Razer Blade Stealth for quite a few months before making my journey back to macOS. It was a fantastic computer, but I just missed macOS too much to stay on it. The hardware was great, it was fast, and the screen was beautiful. But, the overall design was not really updated, and there were no dedicated graphics. Despite packing Intel’s latest, the machine simply felt dated.

Fast forward to today: Razer just announced an updated Blade Stealth. This update brings a “near bezel-less display”, better battery life, and now offers dedicated NVIDIA GeForce graphics for more power. Oh, and the only other grip I had was resolved: Razer now includes Windows Hello natively. Keep reading to learn more.

With blockbuster releases like Fortnite hitting the App Store and Google Play, mobile gaming is bigger than ever. Sometimes it is hard to believe that we live in a world where the powerful smartphones in our pockets are capable of providing the level of immersive experiences that just a decade ago was only possible by large, dedicated pieces of hardware. With Razer Phone 2 pre-orders kicking off at 12:01AM PST morning, it is clear that we can expect the future of gaming on mobile to only get better from here. If that is not enough, Razer announced yesterday that it is releasing its own mobile gaming controller, called Raiju Mobile, that is made to work with flagship Android phones.

Razer is becoming one of the larger gaming peripheral brands, and also gaming computer brands, on the market. With its recent upgrading of the Razer Blade 15, the company has poised itself to dominate the PC gaming market in 2018.

I have long used Razer gaming peripherals for price, quality, and feature set. Razer Synapse, the company’s computer-based controller software for its peripherals, is one of the better programs on the market when it comes to configuring RGB, macro, and other keyboard, mice, and peripheral features. Razer today announced its latest keyboard line, which is the first Opto-Mechanical offering, dubbed the Huntsman and Huntsman Elite.

Microsoft and Razer bringing mouse/keyboard support to Xbox, could arrive this year

Bringing full mouse and keyboard support to Microsoft’s home console has been a contentious topic for a while now among gamers and industry analysts. While there are already some games that allow for it (basically just Minecraft), new information in conjunction with leaked documents point at a major partnership between Xbox and Razor that is already in the works. Redmond has been teasing complete seamless mouse and keyboard support on Xbox One for what feels like years at this point, and it looks like it might finally be on the way.

Razer updates its Blade laptop with a new screen, better specs, refreshed design

When it comes to gaming accessories or computers, Razer is normally high up on the list. One of the first companies to introduce the eGPU (and with its recently-released model becoming more affordable), Razer is normally at the forefront of gaming engineering when it comes to computers.

The Razer Blade has seen a few updates throughout the years, but never really any huge “upgrades” – until now, that is. The gaming company finally gave one of the best laptops on the market a worthy upgrade with a bigger screen, better look, and a trend I’m loving a larger trackpad.

Nanoleaf joins forces with Razer to create even more immersive gaming lighting

Nanoleaf is a well-known company when it comes to specialized smart lighting for your home. Razer is also a well-known brand that makes beautiful PC accessories that also have special lighting. Why are we mentioning these two seemingly random companies in the same article? Because they recently joined forces to make your regular lighting extend away from just your desk while gaming on your PC.

Earlier this year, Razer announced its partnership with Philips Hue to extend its Razer Synapse RGB software off of your desk and around the room, giving a more immersive gaming experience. But now, Nanoleaf is joining the party, and I really like where Razer’s new direction is headed.

Review: Razer’s Nommo Chroma speakers sound great & make a statement

Desktop speakers are generally not thought of as a “pretty” accessory. They can look good, sure, but they’re not usually the most beautiful part of a setup. However, Razer decided to change that. At $150Nommo Chroma is on the higher-end of “normal” desktop speaker pricing, but with built-in RGB lighting, unique design, and fantastic sound, I cannot recommend Nommo Chroma enough. Read on for our full review.
